DESCRIPTION:
English, perhaps for the mid-East market, an 8-day, painted dial, tall case movement, fitting the "Orientalist" scene, or artistic elements derived from the painters travels to countries in N. Africa & the East. Simply stated the arch contains a scene with a turbaned rider on a camel meeting a guard with a spear. This is a large dial, 13w x 18" high.
CONDITION:
the movement appears complete and sound. Dial is good with wear to signature. Seconds hand is replaced. Has seat board, but no pend, pulleys nor wts.
